He has been a regular contributor to The New York Times and brings 20 years of experience in journalism, marketing and corporate communication, including special expertise in marketing, public relations, management, human resources and technology.

A former communication leader at Pitney Bowes, Dom developed innovative ways to use the company intranet and portal communication to recruit, retain and motivate employees. He achieved record setting usage rates for Pitney Bowes’ Total Rewards engagement program among a geographically and functionally diverse workforce. Committed to helping organizations of all sizes collaborate and communicate more effectively with internal stakeholders, Dom’s areas of strategic focus include employee relationship branding, intranet strategy, governance and usability, and social media for internal communication. Dom writes about current trends in two-way communication, engagement and social media (Web 2.0) for internal communication on his blog, two-way comm’s blog.

His passion for creative communication extends beyond his work in corporate communication. Prior to his communication career, Dom graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Jacksonville University, received a full scholarship to the Georgetown University Institute of Political Journalism, and also completed scholarship work at The American University’s Philosophy of Justice Semester before going on to complete first-year studies at The Pepperdine University School of Law. Professional membership affiliations include his current role as VP Membership for the Westchester-Fairfield County International Association of Business Communicators, membership in the Council of Communication Management, and memberships in the Society for Human Resources Management, and the Association of Professional Communication Consultants.

Dom is also an independent musician and singer-songwriter who has produced two original cd music compilations, and serves as Director of Music at Westchester Chapel in White Plains, NY.
